air pump/check valve 850 1997

If the pump is noisy, although that in itself won't cause a code unless it freezes (frozen water) or siezes from bad bearings, it's life is questionable. If there's water in it, the check valve is NG and must also be replaced. The cause of water getting to the pump is a defective check valve.
