Noisy Power Steering Pump V70-XC70 1999

My power steering pump has begun making noise when the car is first started on cold days (temp. below about 35F). After a few minutes of driving, the noise goes away. I checked the fluid and added a little bit to top it off and the noise stopped for about a week. Its now back again, but the fluid level is still OK. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
