What got me in the showroom... V70-XC70 1999

Was a reputation for safety and reasonable reliability, plus we wanted a wagon.

We've done the minivan thing and we didn't want an SUV, which I guess makes us odd these days. We have a '92 Accord wagon, but wanted something a little bigger. Fords, Chevys, and Chryslers were out, and Volvos were less expensive to purchase and maintain than MBs and BMWs.

The ride and overall comfort was helped make our decision since we tend to go on long trips. It's been a great car so far.
