Installing Cd changer 850

In my 96, if you remove the panel inside the trunk over the left rear wheel, there was a wire with a connector in there just forward of the wheel. I installed an aftermarket Alpine and mounted it to the speaker panel. Pretty easy install, had to drill 4 holes and plug it into the wire using an adapter. Worka fine and all Volvo factory CD settings on the head unit work. (i.e. The Alpine does not require you to tune your FM stero into a specific station to listen.) It works excaltly like a Volvo factory unit costing hundreds more.
