Cd changer 850

the adapter is about 6" long one end plugs into the back of the radio the other to the back of the cd changer and one wire that needs to be connected to a power line. the local tv/stereo place said the adapter was $100! go here http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-1KveuNhKd6Z/prodview.asp?s=0&i=541VOLALP

that's what you need to connect the alpine to the volvo head unit. $20 there's always the possiblity that he left it behind. pull out your radio and see if its back there. there is a picture of the adapter on the above mentioned site.
