oxygen sensor bench test advice 850 1994

Well, if there is any consolation, just yesterday I diagonosed the same codes on my 94 850 Turbo. The symptons are engine light which I can clear (for awhile), and occasionaly (but rarely) rough idle with black smoke. I immediately tought it was the front sensor as the code book would let you believe, but the postings following yours seem to question it.

This weekend I'm going to try to find out what's going on, I'll pass on any information I find.

Meanwhile, if there is anyone out with advanced information on alternative sensors (just in case) please pass it along.

thanks
Rui
