CD changer 850

I am trying to install a Volvo-branded CD changer into my 1995 850 Turbo wagon to work with my SC-816 stereo.

Will the Volvo-to-Alpine CD changer interface work for this changer or do I have to buy the interface from the Volvo dealer? Any recommendations on where to buy the interface other than the dealer ($$$)?

Also any tips on the constant 12V connection required or is this covered with the interface?
