Outer CV Boot - replace boot or replace driveshaft? 850

I am going for the inexpensive CV boot kit. Others have replaced it . . . and its just a commuter car.

Maybe it will get hit by a meteor before the next $400 repair. One can only hope -- it's almost Christmas!
