i changed mine with a pioneer 9400 series unit. that is because i do not care what brand it is as long as it works if and anytime i want to use it. plus i like the 200 watt mosfet power. also, the steering wheel mounted remote is a nice big plus. i also connected it to a pioneer changer in the trunk
