V70 R Shocks/Springs..

I have a 98 R... car was wrecked and fixed, but my rear shocks lost pressure.. these are the Nivomat self leveling correct?? any repolacements>?> can you put regular shocks there, I dont care if they are self leveling.. I just want a tight sporty ride like the OLD R!!! and also for the front.. would it be wrong to say I could put a set of S70 GLT (FWD) shocks and performance springs in place of the AWD set?? The AWD cars are almost 2 inches higher (seems) thant he FWD cars.. And I dont need ground clearance.. I live in the south. I'll put a scrape plate underneath so it wont have a chance.. anyways... just some things I'm trying to figure out.. any help? previous experience??

email alltracpete@hotmail.com if you have good idea.. thanks!
