VADIS Trouble Code Query - ETS Light Problem S70 1999

I have an S70 with the same problems...throttle body and software replacement. Car was lunging and ETS light came on twice. My car has 36K. I talked to an independent Volvo mechanic and he said that this is common problem on the newer cars after 1995. No recall by Volvo but I feel Volvo should foot the $700 bill. I contacted Consumer Affairs to lodge a complaint in hopes of Volvo issuing a recall and recoup my money. If anyone has the same problem, please call Consumer Hotline Auto Safety at 1 800 424-9393. We need to put pressure on Volvo to build a reliable car, not just a "safe" one!
