Transmission slipping in park position V70-XC70 1998

i have a 98 v70 and it does the same exact thing. i think it is that when an auto tranny car stops there is still alot of torque on the drive train and although you put the gear selecter in park everything doesn't align until that torque is released.( engine shut off and brake released) if the cars was a manual, pressing the clutch pedal would do that. this might not make any sense, but the voices in my head say it does.
