850 vs 940 850

Really depends on what your priorities are. The 850 is a more up to date in that it was designed around 10 years after the 740, precursor to the 940. The 850 features FWD and in base models a 168 hp five cylinder motor. The 940 has RWD and a four cylinder motor but can get up to the 850's output in turbo versions. Downsides to any modern car is that they have become more complex, which means more things breaking. Many of us do much of our own work to keep the cost of ownership to reasonable levels.
