C70 replacement tires C70

I just put the Bridgestones on my 98 C70 and they are no where near as good on the wet road as the Michlins (sp?) were. On dry roads they are fine, but the car was undriveable in 2" of snow we had a few weeks ago and I get alot of wheelspin on wet roads that I didn't get with the originals.
