So...
What else could be wrong??? Last year the battery kept draining down and we found the relay had closed permently which may have been due to all the water in the air pump itself. Changed these parts and the ck engine light still comes on and the codes point to the air pump?
The mechanic says that everything in this circut is working properly but he is thinking that the relay being shorted out may have caused the ground to control unit to become bad. He says the pump is coming on but not as long as it is suppose to or necessarly when it is suppose to either.
He does not want to change the control unit as it is a high $$ item and is waiting for the ck engine light to reappear before he decides to go that way.
Any other ideas before I spend the $$ on this.
