Light failure S70

Hi,

My 1998 S70 has developed a strange problem. When I set the headlight knob to side lights, my dash lights up and the side lights come on. When I switch it to dipped headlights, the dash goes off and no headlights. I almost never use this switch, leaving it set to dipped all the time. What's even more strange is that the flashing seat belt indicators no longer light up. I've checked all the fuses (hopefully the dealer can get me my radio code!!!!) and nothing amiss. Oh and indicators not working from stalk but do from hazard button and full beam still works from same stalk. This actually started when I was out driving and the light suddenly went off then came back on now I cant get them to come back on at all.

Any thoughts???

Your help is appreciated

Mark.
