Regardless of whether your car has more power without a cat - You are being environmentally irresponsible driving the car without the cat !

If you live in the US you are breaking Federal Law and probably state law.

Where do you live ?

You have a responsability to maintain the emission controls on your car - do so !

For the few horses you may get out of removing the cat you are harming the air we all breathe.

There are high flow performance cats available that may be a legal option for you.
