Headlight question 850 1994

If you have not done it yet, I suggest that you do a search on this topic.

I think that I have seen several posts discussing damage to wiring and/or connectors when using higher wattage bulbs.

If you look around the RWD forum, I think that you might find posts on adding relays to your headlanps and using heavier wiring and possibly other connectors in order to use wattages that draw enough current to arc weld.

BTW - new headlight assemblies cost $305 at my dealer and require an hour's labor to install. I think that this might be a bit inflated, but that is what the service department charged the sales department to put a new headlight on my last purchase. New mating connectors and wires would add to that! (Eventually they had to replace both headlights and I have the old ones - Heh,heh.)
