PROBLEM SOLVED!!! - Swap advice 850

If you are trying to swap a coil, you do not really need to install the swapped part. You can just hook it up and try it, just place it some secure location.

IF YOU DO TRY THIS, DON'T FORGET TO CONSIDER THAT THE MOUNTING OF THE COIL IS PROBABLY A GROUND. IF IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS SO, MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE A GOOD GROUND, OR YOU MAY DAMAGE SERIOUSLY EXPENSIVE PARTS.

If you have two cars, AAA is a good buy - free towing.

Dealer technicians and other good mechanics are usually pretty good at finding "no start" problems. After all, that is the only time a lot of folks bring their cars to a repair garage.

Today's electronics do not cotton to troubleshooting errors.
