Who has lowered their V70's ? V70-XC70 2002

I have lowered a couple cars, so I know how it's done, and know about spring compressor's.

I am just wondering how hard it is on the V70, like how hard is it to get to the all the necessary nuts and bolts ? I have no maintenace manual to look this info up. so any advise would be nice.

Also, does the V70 require a front end alignment after lowering ?

By the way, i am looking at the IPD springs. comments, any suggestions for alternate spring ?
