Warning Lights 850

I have a 94 Volvo 850...yesterday when I was driving on the highway a warning light came on that I could not identify in the owners manual. The light has an lamda symbol outlined with a green triangle. It is the second last light on the bottom right hand side... My best guess is that its a check engine....
