mark,
i have a 1998 s70 and had to replace my light switch.got the same song and dance from the dealer about the recall and the vin nos.covered and mine was outside the recall range so i had to pay for it out of my pocket.Consumer Reports says these autos have more electrical problems than normal.i also have problems with my electric windows on the curbside but i have learned to live with it.
