Headlight wiper motors 850 1994

since I cannot get my wife to clean the ice off the headlights and their wipers on her car, I decided to disable them for now.

I removed my headlight wiper blades and found that a large red wire nut fit on the shaft perfectly. It even matches my wagon. I filled it with dielectric grease first to protect the shaft. I will check it in a few weeks to see if the grease protects the threads.

Don't forget to plug the washer hoses or you will waste washer fluid. If you want to tuck the hoses out of the way, the small body panel around the wiper shaft can be removed easilly. Just start by pulling the inside end away from the car, you can them peek in and see the next clip which justs pulls off also, I think that there are three in all. (I haven't tucked my hoses in yet but had that panel off of my other 850) Study the clips and make sure the tabs that insert into them are lined up properly when you re-install the panel.
