RE Roof bars and load cover for V70... V70-XC70

I am purchasing a V70 this week, it has the seven seat package and I am unsure as to how the load cover works/fits in with the seven seats. Does it have to be unclipped and put to one side?

Further, the car I am getting does not have Volvo roof bars which is a drag. Is it possible to have these retro fitted?

This will be my first Volv, I am rather looking forward to owning it!
