coolant change mishap!!!!! 850

after flushing my coolant yesterday i put all the pipes back on and filled the system to the max on the expansion tank, i then started the car and waited for it to warm up, while it was warming up a went inside to get a cuppa but when i got back there was no coolant in the tank!!!!

i quickly filled it back up to the max line and waited for the fan to cut in and out and then switched it off. my question is have i damaged the engine in any way??? i was gone less than a minute and it only needed about a litre to get it back to the max mark???

it drives the same is it did before my blunder but could it be the calm before the storm.

can someone please put my mind at rest, good or bad news i can take it (i think!!!)

cheers
