Fog Lights for my 98 V70 V70-XC70 2000

Shop around for the best price on the factory kit. I wired mine for independent operation (i.e., I can turn on the foglights without having to turn on the headlights first, they still go off with the key); you do this with the OEM switch and wiring - you just snip a wire here and there and add a jumper, plus you add your own relay wherever you want. Directions are from brickboarder 'n0v8or.' Download them at http://www.davidmaurand.com/n0v8or/

I had to make modifications to the foglight assembly, which did not properly seat in the airdam - probably due to a last minute change in the airdam design. Some here have indicated the newer kits fit just fine. My foglights were original with the car. It's a nice assembly otherwise, made by Hella - you can see variants on MB and BMW's of the same period.
