New S60 & V70 R

Volvo is coming out with new R versions of the S60 and V70. They are really sweet looking with a baseball glove orange leather interior. They are at the Detroit Auto Show now. They produce 300HP! They also include the "Continuous Controlled Chassis Concept" from the Volvo Performance Concept Car that was shown a few years back. You can choose from comfort, sport, or advanced ride.

Other new features:
Twin Intercoolers
Reinforced connecting rods and pistons
Improved Cylinder Head Cooling
Redesigned oil sump (for extreme G-forces)
Six(!) speed manual transmission or
five speed auto geartronic
Haldex AWD

Coming to a dealer new you Spring 2003

These cars are really nice looking. I'm sure that they're even better to drive with 0-60 in 5.4 seconds (with the manual trans). I think I'd like one of each! :-) I have pics to post if others are interested.
