Keyless entry system and remote 850 1996

I bought a used 1996 Volvo 850 (basic sedan). The original owner didn't tell me whether he has ever used keyless entry remote, which gives me no idea about whether my car has keyless entry system preinstalled or not. I called local dealer and Volvo company but did get some vague answers. Is there anyway I can tell whether 1996 850 model has keyless entry system preinstalled and I need a matching remote for that? Someone talked about power lock and red LED in the dash but I am not quite sure about that. I have a blinking red light on SC-710 radio for theft security reason (as I heard) and can open driver side door by turing the key once and the other 3 doors by turning the key once more. I would appreciate any help from brickboarders.
