The OEM rotors surfaces rust over rather easily. Thats normally
not a problem (if this is on the rotor surface).

Rear rotors wear slow and probably don't need replacing. You would
have to measure them to be sure.

Front rotors wear pretty fast. Feel that lip on the edge of the
rotor. When new, it was flat. Figure two sets of pads per set
of rotors.

I've used OEM on both our Volvos. The braking performance is quite
good stock so I just went with stock. Discounters like www.volvoparts.com
sell OEM parts close to the price of after-market parts.
