Anyone have the B&M short-shifter for M56 transmissions? V70-XC70 1999

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the B&M short-shifter for the M56 transmission. If so, what are your impressions? How difficult was installation? I'm somewhat confused that IPD, who sells the part, lists the part as suitable for 2000-2002 V70's, while B&M's website says it's for 1999-2001 V70's & C70's. The item on EuroSport Tuning's web page, which appears to be the B&M product, lists the part as suitable for M56 manual transmissions, such as the one in my 1999 V70. I suppose I should just call B&M to get the definitive answer on whether or not it would work in my car. Thanks.
