I can't speak for Volvos in other countries and I was assuming that you were in the US as most here are. If your car doesn't have a RF airbag yet has a code indicating that the RF airbag has a fault, then it'd more likely be a matter of software as the SRS control unit "thinks" there's a non-existant RF airbag. The dealers Vadis cart can check all that and can also remove any incorrect RF airbag application SW IF it was previously, incorrectly added and since caused the problem.
