Code P0172, Oxygen Sensor???? 850 1996

I have this one popping up occasionally on my wife's 1996 850. A while back somebody said it might be the O2 sensor, but the table says "System Too Rich, Bank 1". I'd expect if it were the O2 sensor, I'd see one of the codes specific to the sensor. Car only has about 47K mi. Recently did the plugs, wires, dist rotor and cap. Cleaned the flame trap and throttle body. Replace air filter and did an oil change. I did hear somewhere that dirty injectors might cause this one, so I dumped a container of Techron injector cleaner in with the last tank of gas. So far I still see this one every couple of days. I was also gettig occasional misfire codes but the other maintenence seems to have taken care of those.

Has anybody else had this code come up and if so, what was the solution?

Tnx,
Dave
