Instruction on replacing tailgate struts on wagon? 850 1995

HO - it was a pure reflex to save my legs. It could've been dangerous had someone been around it not expectiong it.

Btw, you don't have to unscrew any 'bolts' on either end of the strut. You can 'pop' it out as you mentioned in your instruction. I used the fork(?) side of hammed to yank it out. I initially made a mistake of trying to unscrew the bolt for the mounting bracket, and later realized it wasn't necessary.
