Help! Oil Pan Leak.... 850

Hi all, I have a '94 850 Turbo wagon and at nearly 140,000 miles it's developed its first oil leak. Really the leak isn't bad but I'm told that it will get worse and worse. The mechanic says that it is leaking from 3 different places and accumulating at the same place, on the oil pan. the oil pan also leaks and seems to be the worst. He wouldn't tell me what it would cost to fix it (actually rolled his eyes when I asked if it would be expensive)...I'm recovering from Christmas and will fix it eventually. According to the mechanic the engine has to be pulled to replace the oil pan gasket...is this true? Anyway, any insights into the repair for this would be appreciated.
