low coolant warning S70 1999

Yesterday my low coolant warning light. The temp gauge didn't seem any higher than normal so I drove home. When I got home I checked the coolant level in the reservoir. It was fine, if not a little high.

I called the dealer's service dept and ask if I shoudl bring it in or what the problem was. The asked if the coolant was dirty. It was in fact rather brown. I was told it need a radiator flush and it would be okay to drive until I bring it in. I drove it to work today w/ the warning light on and the engine temp seemed fine (I guess it being <20 outside helped). Should I have them check the themostat as well?

btw since the car has almost 45k (44.8) I'm going to have them do the 45k service as well.

Thanks,

Peeter
