Power Locks not working 850 1993

By the power locks not working, you mean when you hit the button (if you have a remote) they dont lock? What about pressing the driver's door lock manually, nothing? Those are the two methods, there are no lock buttons like there are window buttons. Volvo actually is against driving with the doors locked, read the manual, it says it can hinder escape from the vehicle in an accident. Although this dosent help u much when u park it in a garage or on the street. Since it is electrical, first go to the fusebox to check if its a blown fuse (also, go by the manual for which slot is which for the fuses, the cover isnt always right). Other than that I've never experienced this on my '93, so maybe someone else could offer more help. Matt in MA
