95 855T Purchase 850

I'm considering the purchase of a 95 850 turbo wagon and wanted to get some feedback from everyone. The car is about 100 miles from me, so I had a friend who lives near the dealer drive it for me yesterday. Here's what he found:

118,000 miles- looks like it has just about every option.
Needs new tires in the next 10,000 miles
AC appears to work OK, but it's in Chicago (20 degrees), so its hard to tell.
"Clunking" noise when shifting from D to R. Not quite as loud from P to R.
No service records.
Asking price is $7350

From reading the 850 posts, I'm wondering if the transmission noise could be taken care of with a transmission flush or if it has anything to do with the motor mount. Is there anything else for this year and model I should be checking for?

The price seems pretty decent and I know the vehicle has been for sale for a couple months now. I gues I'm just wondering if I should find a mechanic in the area to look at it or just wait until I can find something with service records.

Thanks in advance for any input.

John
