Difference in Rear Calipers between 1994 and 1997? 850

I have found some used rear calipers (off of a 1997 850) for my 1994 turbo sedan. I asked the dealer to ensure that they are compatible with my year. Unfortunately the reference book he has calls out 1997 and up. Does anyone know if these calipers may not be compatible?
