Engine and Tranny Life? C70 1998

Hi Folks,

I have a 98 c70, HPT, with 90,000 miles on it. I'm religious about the maintenance, but starting to get concerned about the life expectance of the engine and tranny. Having only owned american cars and knowing that once you hit 100,000 miles with a FORD you basically sell it since it will fall apart otherwise, I want to know at what point Volvo's typically start failing and falling apart.

Typically what type of mileage are the 2.3L I-5 Turbo engines getting? It is uncommon to get 200,000 or 250,000 miles before having to rebuilt it? What about other major components like automatic transmissions, turbos, starters, waterpumps, etc?

I know that lots of it depends on maintenance, and how you drive..so take this into consideration:

I change oil every 3000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic. I have the tranny completed flushed every 12,000 miles. I drive about 70 miles a day to and from work, most of which is highway driving, and in bumper to bumper traffic. I don't race it or anything like that but I do enjoy pushing the car to its limits on occasion.
