Help! I'm another stranded S80 T6 owner........ S80 1999

I had this exqct same problem twice on my 740. And was towed twice.

It turned out to be a fuel pump issue, both times. Two different pumps, one in the tank and one under the car. And both times the symptom was the same. It would seem that letting it sit allowed it to cool, and I could drive a while longer.

I have no clue if your S80 has a similar pump arrangement, but for what it's worth, you might want to look into it.

Good luck

Bill
