Replace Heater Fan 850

Just did this a couple months ago, the knee bolster made me stop and think too when I saw the SRS stickers on it, I also thought there were wires going to it on the right side, but it is actually just 2 plugs mated together that are secured there. The knee bolster is nothing more than a plate, but there is also a sticker on it to torque the bolts to the right spec. (didn't actually use a torque wrench myself). Also remove the glove box. My first time I took and the fan and lubed both bushings, but the one that is under the squirrel cage is hard to get to unless you pull the cage and I didn't want to risk breaking it. Needless to say it started sqeaking again in a couple days. You can purchase a new blower assembly complete with housing and fan for $110 at eEuroparts.com
