PNP Problem? 850

I'm sure you get questions about the PNP switch all the time. I purchased a '93 850 and was going over the previous owner's receipts, his mechanic recently checked the transmission because of a problem he had where the car would continuously start in 3rd gear. The receipt shows a part called "Gear position" for $120, is this the PNP switch?
