S 40 front clunk S40-V40 2000

I have a similar problem with a V40. Only when cold (sitting overnight) and only when pulling away from a stop. It might occur once or twice for the first 10-15 minutes, and then stops, and often won't happen again for the rest of the day.

I also have a separate 'scraping' noise from passenger (right) side which occurs under the exact same circumstances, but is a little more frequent (2-4 times a morning, versus 0-2 for the clunk). Also goes away after first 10-15 mins.

Dealer has replaced 1 swaybar bushing and front struts, but noise(s) are still there.

I've heard about the engine mount solution elsewhere, so I'm thinking this could be the next best answer. Doubtful it's the CV joints, as it occurs when pulling away in a straight line -- not when turning.
