problem w/850 radio 850 1997

I have a Volvo 850, and the battery died last week (by the way, that Volvo OE battery lasted longer--5.5yrs--than any US or Japan car I have ever owned).

Of course, the radio locked up and I had to enter the code. The code supplied was wrong, and I had to call the dealer twice to get the right code.

Radio now comes on and will play CDs and tapes, and my preset radio stations are still there. However, I get NO reception on any station. Its as if I have no antenna. Previously, even if the antenna didnt go up, I would get some stations.

I have no idea why my radio won't pick up any stations now.

Any advice or suggestions would be great.

Thanks.

RobT
