thanks, I'll contact you. Thinking it is part of the alarm, today I tested it and it didn't work properly. I activated the alarm, and the red LED on the top of the dash flashes, but if I pop the hood, trunk, turn on any lights, or open any doors, the alarm doesn't activiate. But if I push the round "alarm" button on the key fob, the alarm will activate. Sounds defective to me!
