Re: transmission clunk under heavy accel. 850

My transmission produces a clang or a clunk when changing gears under heavy acceleration. (When gearing down to pass or gearing up when accelerating.) I have driven other 850 turbos and they do the same thing.....although, I am unsure of the normality.

I have experienced the heavy changes when merging onto the beltway in fast traffic or quickly accelerating from a stop. I am not a crazy driver, but the traffic around DC sometimes calls for that extra punch-- if you live around here you know what I mean.

People have posted that some transmission fluids are better than others for the 850....any advice?

Thanks,
Ryan
