S60 2001 Headlights going out. S60 2001

I don't by that the daytime running lights are on all the time and that burns them out. I own a 1993 Subaru that has 190,000 miles and it has the daytime running lights on all the time also, and I have NEVER had to replace a light bulb. I have just submitted to the fact that I will have to replace lights all the time, besides the lights I lovr the car, that for your input.
