Sounds interesting ?!?!?!

I would venture a guess that the switch in the ignition lock for the KEY REMINDER is getting stuck.
When you "open the door just as it should" Oh sorry we're not talking about a car accident. Ahh yes if you open the door with the key in the ignition position zero, you should here a chime. If you don't try jolting the wheel with your hand. If the chinme goes away there's your problem. If not We need more information.
As for the hazards and signals,,,, The relay function is in the hazard button,
pop out your radio reach in behind and give it a push. Get a new one from your Volvo store.
Have you had your recalls and service campaings completed??? Volvo can't send you a notificaition if you have moved since you bought the car and not told them!
