V70 AWD R radio info/OBDII V70-XC70

I just picked up a V70 98 AWD R and was wondering if anyone knows of the publication number or if there was a pub for the upgraded stereo system(has the 3 CD shuttle system in the dash) The basic owners manual does not seem to cover this type.
Additionally,
Anyone have any comments on the best OBDII reader for a 98 OBDII system. I was hoping for a laptop based software/patch cord one,(but open to any suggestions)with the ability to read Volvo specific codes(over and above the standard legislated emission codes) as well as having the ability to reset service lights and such. I wouldn't mind real time ignition/FI readouts/traces as well. Nothing wrong with the car now but looking to gather all tools for future work. Are these things even available to the common lay person yet at reasonable cost?
