850 alternatives... 850

Len,

In general you are going to see more posts of negative experiences rather than people randomly posting about how pleased they are with their 850's. I own a 95' w/ 100,000 mi. and I have been very pleased with my ownership experience. I have only previously owned US vehicles so that is my basis of comparison. Far fewer mechanical issues, far superior performance and driveability. There are some problems that are seen more frequently than others with these vehicles (I have experienced none), but I suspect a lot of models are guilty of the same. All in all I would not let reliability be a factor against purchasing this vehicle.

One final note, when I purchased my car w/ 60,000 mi it had full service records and factory maintenance. I believe this goes a long way! Good Luck.
